Goodbye Vehicles

We purchased this car back in 2005. At the time we bought it was only three years old. We thought it would be a good family car to last us a while. We'd had it completely paid off for about five years but we had put so much money into it for repairs including automatic windows and two transmissions that we were just sick of the car, especially since we both felt in our bones that another issue was soon ready to slam us. So in February we decided to sell it and get a new one. The car we drive now is a 2008 red Saturn Vue that looks like this except ours has racks on top.
Neither of us missed the Bonneville for even a second. It was oh so nice to actually park a car in our garage that we could walk around. That Bonneville was so long!! It's fun having an SUV type car that rides so high off the ground too. It gets about an average of 24 mpg and we've been really happy with it.

And since selling the car went so well and gas prices were so high, John decided to sell his truck too! Awesomely, he was able to sell it online for what he had purchased it for a few years before.
Then he invested in a little beauty like this one, except ours is in desperate need of a paint job. However, it runs great, had low miles, and gets about 38 mpg, so we certainly aren't complaining!
